The A's continued their momentum from the big comeback win of Game 1 of the OJALL quarter final playoffs as they took on the Six Nations Arrows in Game 2 of the series at Nations. The Double Blue surged out to a quick 5-2 lead in the first period, threatening to blow the series wide open. . Alex Simmons was on fire and picked up 4 goals in the first frame of the game.
However, the Arrows quickly turned the tables on The A's with a comeback win of their own as they battled back and picked up the 9-8 win on home turf. The series is now knotted at 1-1. Simmons finished up with 6 points in the losing cause on 5 goals and 1 assist for the A's Tehoka Nanticoke paced the Arrows to the win picking up 3 markers and an assist in the comeback win. Game 3 of the Best of 5 series continues on Sunday night with a 7:00 pm start at the Jack. This series is shaping up to be a classic battle and both teams will be looking to pickup the critical game 3 win to put a stranglehold on the series on Sunday night in St.Catharines.
