Dickie's Daughter and Grandson
Last night's home opener began with an emotional tribute to long time A's supporter Darwin "Dickie" Dickson.

Dickie's daughter Krystal Racine and her nephew were on hand for the first ball drop of the season at Jack Gatecliff Arena.

Krystal and family raised 842 dollars in support of the St.Catharines Jr. A Athletics this year

We couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the season then saying “thank-you” to a special man (and his lovely family) who have been great and proud supporters of our organization.

Dickie's grandson dropped the ball between A's Captain Latrell Harris and Brave's Captain Andrew Borgatti as A's President and VP, Paul Coates and Lindsay Taylor look on.

The A's went on to "Win One for Dickie" in a hard fought battle beating the KW Braves 7 to 4
