The A's continue with their busy week as they head North to Barrie to take on the Lakeshores tonight at 8:00pm. The Athletics are looking to improve their record to 5 wins against 2 losses.
Leading scorers Tyler Brown, Kealan Pilon and Carter Zavitz will be looking to generate some much needed offense for the DoubleBlue. After the Barrie game, the Boys in Blue will get a day of rest before travelling to Toronto to play Beaches in a Sunday afternoon matchup. Safe Travels and Good Luck. Bring back the wins!!!

The A's had two "Z-Boys" on the squad for last nights win against the Oakville Buzz. The pair of Zavitz brothers were in on 7 of the 8 goals with Carter scoring twice and adding four assists while younger brother Keaton added two assists in his Jr. A debut!

The Athletics picked up their 4th victory of the year in tonight's win over the Oakville Buzz at home in Jack Gatecliff Arena. The game was a defensive struggle with a 4 - 4 tied result after 60 minutes of regulation play. However, the A's outscored the Buzz 4 goals to 1 in the OT period including two empty netters to secure the home victory. Rookie Brayden Mayea scored his second goal of the night with the winner in extra time. Carter Zavitz had another big night picking up 2 goals and 4 assists to lead the way for the A's. The A's look to keep the momentum building with a road game in Barrie on Friday night when they match up against the winless Lakeshores. After falling behind early, the A's overcame a couple of 4 goal deficits and scored 3 goals in the final period but could not secure the comeback win. Carter Zavitz paced the A's with a 5 point performance including 4 goals and 1 helper in the losing cause. Th'e A's will try to regroup and get back in the win column with a home game tonight at 7:30pm when they meet the Oakville Buzz at Jack GateCliff Arena. After giving up 4 unanswered goals in the first period, the A's stormed back to tie the game late in the third. The Chiefs prevailed in the OT period handing the A's their first loss of the season. A's struggled on the powerplay going 0 for 10 with the man advantage. A's leading scorer Tyler Brown had a hat trick in the losing effort. Coach Steve Toll and staff will make some adjustments heading into a road game with the high scoring Warriors in Whitby on Tuesday night at 8:00 pm.
