A’s acquire Sundown from Arrows

The St. Catharines Jr. A Athletics are proud to welcome Larson Sundown to the A’s family.

Athletics General Manager Jeff Chcoski made the announcement after acquiring Sundown, and a second round pick, from the Six Nations Arrows in exchange for goaltender Drayden Patey.

Sundown is a 6’1″ offensive lefty, who hails from Basom New York, and Chcoski can’t wait to see his first acquisition in an A’s uniform.

“Larson is someone we have had our eyes on for a while,” said Chcoski who was named Athletics General Manager in October.

“He’s a big lefty scorer who brings a lot of experience to our program. Larson played in B.C. (New Westminster Salmonbellies) last year, and everyone we talked to had nothing but great things to say about him. We’re excited to get him in our lineup.”

The St. Catharines Jr. A Athletics would like to thank Drayden Patey for his time with the A’s, and wish him all the best with the Six Nations Arrows.
