Athletics name new General Manager

The St. Catharines Jr. A Athletics lacrosse club is proud to announce the appointment of Jeff Chcoski as general manager.

Jeff joins the double blue with a vast sporting background in the city of St. Catharines.

He played minor lacrosse and hockey here, and then went on to coach in the area for the past 24 years including stops with the St. Catharines Jr. B Falcons and Grimsby Jr. C Peach Kings.

Jeff’s history with the Jr. A Athletics also runs deep. He was part of Lee Randall’s training staff back in the 1980’s, and in the mid-90’s he was opening the defensive door on the A’s bench for hall of famer’s Buff McCready and Paul Day.

Most recently, Jeff was the defensive coach with the junior A Mimico Mountaineers – a team that made it to the Minto Cup this past summer.

Jeff is a lifelong resident of St. Catharines where he resides with his wife and two daughters.

Welcome back to the Athletics family, Jeff.

The A’s would also like to thank Sean Allen for his years of dedication to the A’s organization.

Sean is, and always will be, an Athletic for life.
