Tammy Le, a second year Sports Management student from Toronto has been appointed Director of Fan Experience. Her background as a Provincial Basketball player, her love of sport and her current studies will give her a tremendous opportunity to enrich the overall A’s fan experience this year. Asked why she joined the A’s she said ” I wanted to become a part of a machine that achieves success in more than one way.” We are very excited to watch Tammy make a meaningful difference to our operations.
Robert Hinschberger, a fourth year Sports Management student from the K/W area has been appointed Director of Minor Development. His years of hockey including playing at the Junior level and his passion to work with kids make him the perfect candidate to work with SCMLA members to help develop and grow the great game of lacrosse. When asked why the double blue Robert said “The strong lacrosse culture in this region excites me to work with the minor lacrosse system to ensure that our youth players not only strive to be A’s in the future but continue to develop transferable skills that are useful in their everyday life” We know that Robert will do a great job in this area.
Mitch Hannigan, a first year Sports Management student who hails from Cole Harbour NS also recently served in the Military. He is an accomplished lacrosse player who has represented his Province. He also played rugby and hockey. Mitch has been appointed Director of Player Experience. He is looking forward to making this year’s player experience one that the athletes will remember for a life time. His lacrosse experience as a player and on the management side of the sport will allow him to flourish in this role. When asked why the A’s his response was very simple “I want to give back to the game I love, it is truly a passion for me” With this attitude our players are in for a pleasant surprise!
President of the club Paul Coates put it best ” The enthusiasm, energy and commitment all three of these individuals have displayed will allow this organization to accomplish things this season that quite simply would have been impossible with out them.”
Welcome aboard Tammy, Robert and Mitch!
